Jurgen Schonafinger

Jurgen has been in the Financial Services industry since 1990 and he completed his Diploma of Financial Planning in 2001 through Deakin University. He was admitted as a Certified Financial Planner in 2001.

In 2001, Jurgen established Templeton Financial Services, building a well-respected Practice. In 2009, he merged his business with RetireInvest Benalla and in 2019, an additional office was established in Wodonga. 

Jurgen prides himself in educating his clients so that they have a better understanding of the investments they hold, and in time become more comfortable due to their increased knowledge of their financial situation.

Jurgen is married to Carolyn and they have two adult sons. Most weekends involve following the boys' sporting teams and gardening, with travel high on Jurgen's list of favourite pastimes.

Patrick McCarron

Patrick joined the team in June 2012, having previously spent 5 ½ years working as an adviser for AMP. Throughout his career he has completed additional tertiary studies and specialist accreditations.

Patrick advises to a widely diversified range of clients. This advice ranges from simple to extremely complex, depending on the needs of his client.

Patrick prides himself on his professionalism, honesty and integrity. Working with a like-minded team at Templeton Advice Group allows him to advise in the best interests of his clients.

A keen fan of the outdoors, Patrick enjoys many pursuits such as bike riding, skiing, fishing and travel.

William Woodford

William joined the team in October 2023 to do his professional year in preparation of becoming a
financial adviser.
While completing his financial planning studies, William began work in the industry during 2016 with family in Melbourne and has held multiple roles within the industry, from client service officer to marketing coordinator, to paraplanner.
Originally from Milawa, William relocated back to Wangaratta to raise his family of 2 young children with wife, Claire.
With interests including, fishing, boating and continuous learning, William values enjoying life with authenticity and critical thinking.

Lewis Dodimead

Lewis joined the team early in 2023 having previously spent 10 years in hospitality management, eager for a fresh start and new challenges.
Lewis brought his experience in people skills, I.T and tech support knowledge across to a new environment to manage the behind-the-scenes operation of the business.
Married with 3 children, most evenings and weekends are full of kids dance and basketball, with any extra spare time Lewis enjoys motorsport and American football.

Deb White

Debbie joined the team at Templeton Advice Group in 2019 as a Client Service Officer having previously been Self-Employed for 20 years working in administration and accounts.

Debbie holds a certificate III in Allied Health assistance and has also completed her Diploma in Hairdressing.

Debbie prides herself on her ability to communicate effectively with clients and work colleagues and is an incredibly valuable and reliable team member.

One of Debbie’s key focuses is creating a positive work environment and she strives to achieve the best result she can in whatever she is doing.

Debbie’s Interests include gardening, walking, keeping active, socializing with friends and her mantra is to live life to the fullest.

Emma McInnes

Emma joined the team in 2021 after 7 years working at the Commonwealth and NAB banks.

Emma is an integral part of the administration team and at present is working two days per week, spending the rest of the week with her two young boys and studying.

With a degree in Business Management, Emma has decided to take a different path and complete a Masters in Teaching (Primary).

Emma is married to Scott and when not at work, Emma loves spending time with her boys - Henry & Flynn – cooking, exercising, spending time with family and friends and enjoying time at their family farm..

Sarah Watkins

Sarah has been working in the Finance industry for 3 years as a personal banking adviser at Westpac before joining the Templeton Advice Group team in 2021.

Throughout her professional working history, Sarah has been in client facing roles and prides herself on her ability to build rapport with clients quickly and is currently working through her Diploma in Financial Planning.

Sarah has 3 children and spends her spare time at basketball tournaments, netball games and football games supporting each of them.

If she is not supporting her children, you will find her on the netball court playing herself.

Shannon Brockley

Shannon joined the team at the start of 2022 having previously spent 8 years working in the Accounting industry as an Accounting Administrator.

Shannon has worked in Business Administration for the last 20 years and enjoys working closely with clients and helping them, especially when dealing with Centrelink.
Shannon is married with 2 adult children and 6 beautiful grandchildren, whom she enjoys spending time with.

Most spare time is spent either gardening and enjoying the great outdoors, fishing, camping, and travelling in their caravan.

Daryl Johnstone

Daryl started working in the Financial Services industry in 2008 with Jurgen. Prior to joining the business, Daryl spent a number of years as the Manager of the Benalla and Wangaratta KFC stores.

Daryl enjoys helping clients navigate their way through difficult financial situations and getting the best outcome possible for them.

Outside of work, it’s Golf, Golf and more Golf along with watching his beloved Tigers make light work of their opposition on a regular basis.

In addition, Daryl enjoys bushwalking adventures, socialising with friends and spending time with his young family.

Kelly Mitchell

Kelly enjoys a good work-life balance living on the border where she has grown up and is passionate about assisting young professionals and retirees in achieving their financial goals.

Kelly is very keen to build professional and lasting relationships with clients and other business professionals.

Away from the office Kelly is a mum of two children, Hayley and Thomas.

Kelly is passionate about her fitness, ongoing education and enjoys a good coffee.

Michelle de Bresser

Michelle joined the Templeton Advice Group team in February 2021 after spending 30 years in the local printing industry. Michelle is relishing her new career path and enjoys meeting and assisting clients with their various requirements in her new role as a Client Services Officer.

Married to Scott, Michelle likes to keep physically active with yoga, cycling and has a keen interest in the arts.

Michelle also likes to escape into a good movie accompanied by a nice drop of red.

Sarah Pollock

Starting at the bottom in the family printing business straight out of year 12 and with loads of hands-on experience in Account Management, Sarah Pollock found the jump into Financial Planning an exciting opportunity.

With a tree change from Mt Eliza Victoria to the Rutherglen region in 2011, Sarah has now been a Client Services Officer (CSO) in the Financial Planning industry for over 8 years.

Enjoying all aspects of the role, Sarah prides herself on organisation, effective processes and always looking for more productive ways to develop the client experience.

Outside of work, Sarah loves to hang out on their 20 acre property with their 4 rescue cows, tinker in the garden with hubby, fixing up the house & garden and hanging out with their 2 teenagers Elly and Jack. In addition, Sarah enjoys reading, listening to music, going on walks and spending time at home.

Sarah loves a challenge and likes to get stuck into new projects and enjoys helping others in all aspects of work and life.

Sarah believes everyone has something to bring to the table and that all people deserve to feel valuable..

Mareeta Corcoran

Mareeta joined the team in March 2020, having previously worked in the Financial Services Industry as a Client Services Office straight out of high school. After 17 years, and a Diploma of Financial Planning later, Mareeta thought a change was in order and moved into a Paraplanning role at Templeton Advice Group where she has grown immensely.

When Mareeta isn’t nose down in writing plans and making sure the office place banter is at its optimum level, she enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family and friends, whether it be camping, having a laugh or catching up over delicious food.

This of course has to fit around her weekend sport of tennis, netball and anything in between.

Carli Hogan

Carli has spent the majority of her working career in public and private dental, starting as a Chairside Assistant then progressing into Oral Health Coordinator, Project Management and introducing Pilot Projects to NE Victoria for Dental Health Services Victoria.

After finishing up in the Dental field, Carli was a Property Manager, managing anywhere between 160-230 rental properties.

Carli and her husband have 3 children that keep them very busy. Most weekends they are either at football, netball or horse events.

When they are at home, Carli loves spending time with her small menagerie of farm animals (children included) and pottering around on their small hobby farm.

Carolyn Stubbs

Previous work history: Have worked in the industry since leaving school in 1999 - I absolutely love paraplanning!

Interests outside of work: I’m a vocalist in a local band and I enjoy water skiing, camping and home renovations.
